Ingredients
4 cups of fresh water
a large pot (I love using my cast iron dutch oven)
4 springs of dried lavender
1 large lemon
3 springs of rosemary
Flower buds or petals
Vanilla extract (optional)

Start by slicing the lemon into thin slices.
In a large pot, fill it with 4 cups of water. Turn your stove to medium-high.
Add all of the ingredients to the pot (lavender, lemon, rosemary, and floral petals).
Once the pot reaches a simmer, turn the stove down to low heat.
Let the ingredients simmer for a few hours, and remember to periodically to make sure you have enough water. Add more water to the simmering pot when needed to avoid it from drying out.
