The Ritual
Before guests arrive, I fluff the pillows, spritz the linen spray, and place bottled water, chocolate, and a candle on the nightstand. I like to light the candle for just a moment so the scent greets them when they walk in. It’s a ritual of welcome, calm, and quiet comfort.
